जय गुरुदेव ॐ
For those of you unable to read sanskrit (myself included), those foreign characters above my picture represent the phrase "jai guru deva om." You may recognize them from a Beatles song, you may not. Either way, I like this phrase. It translates more or less to "glory to the shining remover of darkness." Essentially, I created this website because I have a lot of thoughts and uncertainties, often onset by dark or seemingly hopeless events that take place in the world around each and every one of us. These beautiful words help to remind me that we all have the capacity to remove the darkness from our own worlds, to brighten our personal realms. We must find the time to give glory first and foremost to ourselves, the incredible beings that we are. At the risk of sounding corny, I truly believe that writing down the random words and thoughts that pop into my head has been a healing effort to appreciate life's mysterious beauty. I call this site the Innerworkings of a Nobody's Mind because in the grand scheme of things, I am a nobody. My words and thoughts expressed may have the potential to make me a somebody to someone, and that is my hope. Enjoy my words, don't enjoy them, be confused by them, do as you will with them. Here they are.
